October is full of celebrations from festivals, harvests, and Halloween all over Northern Colorado and beyond. Wellington, Fort Collins, Loveland and more! 


It is the one time of year we can dress up and be someone else, at least once or so in October. Here is a list of events, pumpkin patches, corn mazes, and haunts for your whole family to enjoy this spooky fun holiday! 

We will be updating this guide as we get new information and events to add.

There are several in the area happening now through October that will be here and in our event calendar.



Loveland

Osborn Farm 1230 S Boise Ave. Loveland – Open daily from 10am – 6pm. Gates open September 30th through Oct weather permitting and while supplies last. Family activities will include barnyard and field full of pumpkins, gourds, Indian corn, corn stalks and straw bales will be available for purchase. See web for pricing on items from the farm. There will be mums from Flowers for 3 while supplies last. Coffee truck on weekends only. Credit cards preferred. Cash will be taken but can not guarantee change. 


Find Your Fright Haunted House – The Promenade Shops at Centerra 5957 Sky Pond Dr, Loveland. Opening on the infamous FRIDAY the 13th for year 13! Tickets: $18 (ages 12 and up), $12 (ages 11 and under). All nights 6pm -11pm unless otherwise noted. Dates: October 13th Opening night special:  Adult Tix $13, Saturday, October 14th, October 20th, October 21st, October 27th, October 28th,  KIDS DAY:  Sunday, OCT. 29th (11am-4pm) *All tickets $5 HALLOWEEN:  Tuesday, October 31st:  6-10pm  Want to participate you must be 12 or older - fill out this form? Downtown Pumpkin Festival at the Foundry Oct 14th 12pm - 5pm. Get tickets here. $14.64 (includes fee) to enter the Pumpkin Carving. This year they are adding Pumpkin Carving classes for $23.18 (fee included)! We’ll feature local farmers market pumpkins, Loveland artists, Pumpkin Sculptures, food vendors and more! Shop farmers market stands and vendor booths throughout The Foundry Plaza and enjoy some time downtown in the crisp fall air! 


Creepy Walk In The Woods OCTOBER 13, 14, 20, 21, 27 & 28, 2023 7 to 11pm. $30 per person. No online tickets - only in person. $5 off coupons around town. Cash or card at the entrance. DO NOT bring children under 11. DO NOT Bring alcohol, pets of any kind (service or other) . Leave your precious items (earrings, phones etc) at home or secured someplace. No pausing the haunt to search for your lost items. 


Halloween Come in Costume - Mehaffey Dog Park (This one's for the dogs!) - October 29, 1:30 - 2:30pm. Bring or wear your Halloween costumes pups. I'll bring the ones I have!! Fall is on its way in to Colorado. Gets darker and cooler earlier each day. Our winter hours will be Sunday at 12:30pm. Come join us!! Mehaffey dog park is located at the central-south end with parking available in the lot off of 22nd St. There is a fence division within the dog park area which provides a separate area for our small dogs. The small/shy dog area is to the east/right of the main entry gate. RSVP here! 


Halloween BASH Kid's night out Chilson & Windsor Community Center Oct. 28, 7:00 - 10:30pm Wear a costume & Win Prizes! ZOMBIE NERF ARENA, Trick or treat street, carnival zone, ghosts in the graveyard


HALLOWEEN ON THE PROMENADE at Centerra Shops. The fun begins October 29 at 12pm and runs through 3pm. Treat yourself to complimentary face painting and a cartoon portrait. Pick the perfect pumpkin to take home for free from our Pumpkin Patch. Capture snapshots alongside the Ghostbusters and the Stay Puft Giant!  They've got games, giveaways, more. The first 1,000 kiddos dressed in costume will receive a free goody bag! 


Downtown Loveland Trick or Treat Street October 28 - 10 to 2pm up and down 4th street and some side streets. 



Windsor

Hometown Harvest Pumpkin Patch 7710 WCR 62 Windsor. Opened Sept 23rd and runs through Oct. 30th.. Open Thursday & Friday 12pm – 6pm, Saturday and Sunday 9am - 6pm. Free entrance, family games and activities. Pumpkins, Mini pumpkins, and Gourds prices on their Facebook page. Pumpkins on site include Jack O Lantern, Cinderella, Wolf, and Sugar Pie. 


Trick-or-Treat in Downtown Windsor - OCTOBER 28, 2022 AT 1 PM – 4 PM 500 Main St, Windsor, CO 80550 & Boardwalk Park.


Twilight Tours of Lakeview Cemetery Oct. 20, 21, 27, 28 most days have 2 tours, Times vary $6 per person for kids 8 and up. Embark on an exciting evening tour of Windsor’s historic Lakeview Cemetery with a costumed tour guide from the Town of Windsor Museums! Guided by lantern light, discover unusual and incredible stories of early Windsor pioneers who are buried in the cemetery. Windsor’s original residents will come to life during this tour. This tour features all-new stops and residents that are different from tours in previous years! These tours are family-friendly for kids 8+, but the tours that begin at 5:30 p.m. are highly recommended for families. Tours last 1 hour. (Dress warmly! When the sun goes down the temps drop too.)


Halloween Carnival at the Windsor History Museum Oct. 28 1pm - 4pm. Visit the Windsor History Museum for a fun day of trick-or-treating! The lawn in front of the museum will be transformed into a spooky extravaganza with festive fall decorations, performers, face painting, and a variety of local vendors with free candy! This event is FREE and no registration is required. Bring the whole family! 


Pumpkin Plunge at Community Rec Center Oct. 28 from 5-8pm. Dive into the spooky spirit at the Pumpkin Plunge! Swim through the water to find the perfect pumpkin to decorate. For ages 2-12. $6 per child. Time waves 5-5:45 p.m., 6-6:45 p.m., and 7-7:45 p.m. Children under 6 must be within arms reach of a parent. Fort Collins 

Something from the Farm 8020 South Timberline Rd Fort Collins, CO 80525 - Sunday 10-6, Monday - Saturday 9-6. Open Sept. 30th - Oct. 31st. Hayride and Bale maze $10.00 (3 and under free), gourd cannon 3 shots $4.00, Pumpkin Trebuchet $7 (only available during weekends).  Wuxn 3D will be demonstrating their 3D printer and FoCo Organics will be onsite explaining the benefits of CBD.


Treatsylvania Friday, October 27 from 5-7 p.m., Saturday, October 28 from 5-7 p.m., Sunday, October 29 from 1-3 p.m. & 5-7 p.m. Tickets go on sale 7am October 3rd and must be purchased in advance online or in person at  Northside Aztlan Community Center or EPIC. This is for kids 10 and under. TIP Tickets go fast so if you don't already have an account, create one in advance. 


The Bartles Farm 3424 E Douglas Road Fort Collins Co 80534 – Open daily Sept 23 - Oct 31 10-6. Weather permitting. Free Admission and free parking. Have fun with Punkin Chunkin, Farm Animals, mini maze for free. Spooky Cool Kids Club Halloween @ The Lyric October 28 11:00 pm - 2:00 pm $10 per family Featuring live performances, interactive activities, face painting, costume contest, food drink, spooky tunes and other weird fun.  


Spooky's Pumpkin Patch 2601 S College Ave Open 12-7 daily Their thick-skinned pumpkins are specifically grown to be the best for carving, unlike store-bought pumpkins which have a very short shelf-life once they are carved. They offer decorative straw bales, decorative corn stalks, gourds, squash, mini-pumpkins, and sweet Pie Pumpkins that are for pumpkin pie, or as part of a fall table.



Platteville

Miller Farms Annual Harvest Festival 13912 CR 19 Platteville, CO - Open Labor Day through Mid-November 9am – 6pm. Pick UR own produce, pumpkin patch, petting zoo, corn maze, hay maze, hayrides, jumping pillow, monster truck, fire truck, pedal cars planes, UFO's and antique tractor displays Lots of family-oriented activities. Longmont

Rocky Mountain Pumpkin Ranch 9057 Ute Hwy (CO 66) Longmont - September 30th through October 31st. Hours are 9am-6pm daily.  October 31st we close at 4:30. Low key family fun with free entrance and parking Mon - Fri. Free fun, see cute and cuddly animals, and cornstalk maze. Up for purchase are Uncle Oscar's Hay Maze, Paint a pumpkin, and the pumpkin patch! The weekends are full of Festive fun. Saturdays and Sundays offer tons of activities each take tickets (between 1 – 10 tickets per person), tickets are $1 each. October Pumpkin Festival 303-684-0087. If you want to just visit and see the Farm Store admission and parking are free. 



Greeley

Tigges Farm Produce and Pumpkin Patch 12404 Weld County rd 64-1/2 Greeley. October open Thursday - Sunday from 10-6.  FREE Admission. Pumpkins, produce and Chilies etc for sale on the roadside. Limited items. Gift shop onsite. Museum onsite. Tons of fun events every weekend and a Trick or Treat event Oct 30 & 31st. 



Johnstown

Hankins Farm Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch 26745 Weld County Road 17 Johnstown Open Saturday 11-5 and Sunday 12-5. Pricing can be found here for maze and activities here (buy online for $2 discount). Pumpkin and other items pricing here



Milliken 

Pumpkin Pickin Paradise Hwy 257 & Rd 52 Open weekdays starting Oct. 4th due to the wet weather this spring. We will be open as long as supplies last. If you can wait till Oct 7th we will have a great selection of pumpkins and such available. Hours Weekdays from 1pm - 6pm, weekends 10am-6pm. FREE entrance, free parking and entertainment. Pumpkins gourds squash and more sold by size. Store and haunted house on site. Store too!  



Erie

Anderson Farms 6728 county Rd 3-1/4 Erie. - Fall Festival runs daily from Sept 20 through October 30. Hours and prices vary for entry. Price varies based on day and range from $17 - $56 for general admission, children 3 and under free. Terror in the Corn pricing ranges from $$39 - $140. Home of the longest running corn maze. Tons to do you can plan on staying all day. Refreshments and more available too. 



Boulder

Munson Farm Pumpkin patch 7355 Valmont Rd. Boulder (75th st and Valmont East of Boulder) - Open daily 9am-6pm. Open from Mid September to Oct 31st. Hayrides, corn maze and of course pumpkins and produce. For info call 303-442-5330 


Cottonwood Farms 1535 N 75th South West corner of 75th St and Arapahoe road Boulder - Sept. 23 - Oct 31st. Open  daily 10am to 6pm Free admission . Children under 5 and Seniors over 65 always free admission and hay rides. Halloween Pumpkin Patch fall festival, hayrides Corn Maze, Straw Bale Mace, Pumpkin patch, animals, steam engine & Farm equipment, farm stand, adult and child mazes. Some are limited times and cohorts. 



Wiggins

Pope's Farm Corn Maize and Pumpkin patch 19502 CR  3 Wiggins CO- Oct 1-Oct 30 Friday 4-9
Saturday 10-9, Sunday 10-6. Largest most challenging corn maze in the area. Haunted in October at dusk, pumpkin cannon, pumpkin patch, produce and fall décor many activities for young and old. 970-483-6124. Haunting Entertainment begins soon! HIGHLY recommend visiting their site.  



LaSalle

Fitzler Corn Maize and Giant Pumpkin Patch 20861 County Rd 33 LaSalle - Halloween Pumpkin patch, scream archers, Opens Sept. 17th and runs through Oct. 30th. Various prices for entry to the Fall Festival from $28.24 (fees included) to $54.33 (fees included). Various times and days. Visit site for specifics. There are 2 distinct attractions Fall Festival (for the family) and Scream Acres run from Sept 17 through Oct. 29th (for older teen/possibly tween and adults). Fireworks on October starting the 27th. 



Bellvue

Morning Fresh Dairy Farm Halloween Tours Halloween is just around the corner so we must turn the farm into a Moo-villous Halloween Town! Join us for Halloween themed tours, saying hi to baby cows, a free photo booth, corn maze, a scavenger hunt, and a scary good time!  October 20, 21, 22, 25, 27, 28, & 29. Hours  10am - 3pm.
