Early Childhood Education from Toddlers to School Age.

At The Children's Workshop, your child will be offered a very special curriculum called Core Knowledge.  The core knowledge sequence identifies skill and knowledge competencies in all areas-Physical Well-Being and Motor Development, Social and Emotional Development, Approaches to Learning, Language Development and Knowledge Acquisition, and Cognitive Development.  By specifying define expectation, the Core Knowledge Preschool sequence provides everyone teachers, parents, and children a clear vision of where they are going.  Knowing these definite goals allows teachers to provide experiences that will lead children towards the acquisition of each goal.  Setting clear expectations and standards has repeatedly proven to be the most effective way of ensuring that all young children gain the knowledge and skills they need for future learning in school.

Private Kindergarten:
Our private kindergarten is lead by a teacher with a degree in Elementary Education.  The Children's Workshop kindergarten classroom enables the students to learn in a small class size and will build foundational literacy that extends learning in all academic areas and strengthening their skills.  Our teacher encourages individual independence which ensures each student will have a smooth transition into public school.  Students learn to write their name, solve simple addition and subtraction problems, develop social and emotional skills, and are able to retell a story from beginning to end, among other skills.

School Age Program:
Fun, Friends, Homework!  It all starts here.  Imagine a nurturing Before and After School Program where children have the opportunity to relax and continue to learn while having fun. Our School Age Club is for children ages 5 through 12 years.  We make sure our students receive homework help, so they establish good habits and are freed up for more family fun at home.  Still, there is plenty of time for the children to explore creativity, enjoy sports, have fun with drama and music, games or have some downtime.
Summer Camp:  The summer school-age program is developed for chidden who have completed kindergarten through age 12.  All activities have been designed to ensure that your school age, "Sunshine Squad", has an unforgettable summer.  The camp is led by experienced qualified early childhood teachers.

The Children's Workshop participates in the Child and Adult Care Food Program.  This means that your child will receive nutritious meals while The Workshop.
