Adventure Bound Day Camp Keeping Kids Safe, Educated and Entertained

March 25, 2025

Adventure Bound Day Camp

Adventure Bound Day Camp (ABDC) is a state-licensed childcare/day camp program for

children entering grades K-5.

ABDC is located at the Chilson Recreation Center in the heart of downtown Loveland.

Children spend school days out, holiday, and summer breaks at the Chilson Center in our full-day licensed child care programs. A variety of crafts, games, enrichment activities, swim days, and off-site field trips will keep brains and bodies actively engaged in a healthy dose of FUN! Children must be at least 5 years old by their first day of camp to attend. ABDC generally follows the Thompson Valley School District calendar for major holidays, school days out, and school breaks.

The Adventure Bound Day Camp’s mission is to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for all campers, creating an atmosphere that supports learning and fun. We emphasize four important life skills: safety, responsibility, readiness and respect. We provide a secure and comfortable environment for children to discover and cultivate their own unique abilities and interests by creating a developmentally appropriate atmosphere of stimulation, opportunity and discovery. All day camp staff participate in annual trainings in the areas of health & safety, social/emotional learning and developmentally appropriate practices.

City of Loveland Parks & Recreation’s Activity Guide contains current program session dates and rates for our school year programs as well as our summer camp programs.
