City of Loveland Parks & Recreation will kick off a summer of fun (and mostly free) Movies in the Park starting Friday, June 14, 2024.
“Movies in the Park has become an icon of summertime here in Loveland and we look forward to it each year. Each of the movies was thoughtfully selected and will include fun games and activities pre-show” said Kerry Helke, Senior Recreation Coordinator for the City of Loveland Parks & Recreation.
Movies start at dusk, approximately 8:45pm and will be held at various locations around Loveland.
Here is the line-up of movies and activities for the summer:
- Friday, June 14th Migration (PG) at Cattail Creek Golf Course, 2116 W. 29th Street. Families will have the opportunity to play SNAG (Starting New at Golf) for free from 5:00pm – 8:00pm. In honor of the movie’s bird theme the Rocky Mountain Raptor Program will be on-site from 6:00-8:00P. Food is available from Little Fork food truck.
- Friday, July 12th Super Mario Bros: The Movie (PG) at Hammond Amphitheater at North Lake Park. Test your skills on our Mario-inspired obstacle course with fun themed- prizes for fastest times in several age groups beginning at 7:30P.
- Saturday, July 20th Surf’s Up (PG) at Winona Outdoor Pool. Pool entry fee required. Bring a friend and don’t forget your pool float!
- Friday, July 26th Happy Feet (PG) at the Foundry Plaza. An ice-cream social will start at 6:00pm along with a DJ, and several ice cream vendors there to serve. Attendees will be able to buy tickets for tastes at each vendor or a full serving.
- Friday, August 30th Barbie (PG-13) at Hammond Amphitheater at North Lake Park. Moms Night Out! Grab your girlfriends, find a babysitter and come watch or even sing-along. Enjoy some wine ($), take pics at the Photo Booth, and play Bad Mom Bingo for a chance to win prizes.
