Fall into Flavor with Organic Valley

Feeling all the fall vibes thanks to Organic Valley Pumpkin Pie Overnight Oats

Mornings can be difficult for a number of reasons – lack of time, growing to-do list, half asleep family members, etc. The list goes on and on. I try to be pretty "healthy" by having a variety of well-rounded foods offered in my home, but we tend to gravitate towards the breakfast items that are fairly basic to prepare because time and toddlers can make quite the equation.

We want to start our days off on the right foot, so my family enjoys a breakfast rotation of eggs, bagels with cream cheese, oatmeal, cereal, and sometimes the splurge of pancakes or waffles.

Too often we get caught up buying the same brands out of habit. Before learning about Organic Valley my knowledge about the brand was that it is mostly dairy and that Organic Valley is our preferred brand of cream cheese. Boy did I learn so much more about why Organic Valley is the best choice to buy!

Organic Valley provided discounted products so that my family could taste them firsthand to provide this review. You can also check out Organic Valley's website with additional information HERE.

Why Organic?

I choose to go organic for my family whenever possible simply because I want to trust that what we put into our bodies was well-made without any extras. To avoid added sugar, preservatives, or hormones, that typically means organic is the way to go.

Unfortunately, many brands can trick you with good labeling, but "all natural" or "organic ingredients" doesn't necessarily mean the entire item is pure. Best advice: Read those labels! Always make a point to check the nutrition and specific ingredients in what you purchase so you're not fooled into thinking you've made the right choice due to marketing. But I'm here to tell you that Organic Valley is a brand we can all trust!

Why Organic Valley?

Organic Valley is a national brand of small family farms passionate about doing what’s right for people, animals, and earth and committed to bringing ethically made organic food to families everywhere. That means that by supporting Organic Valley, you are helping an independent co-op of organic family farms that believe in the power of good food grown in harmony with nature.

Products include milk, cheese, eggs, smoothie mixes, butter, organic snack items, and more, with 100 percent of the food sold being USDA-certified organic.

Finding Organic Valley products is also very convenient – most grocery stores carry Organic Valley and there is even a selection available on Amazon Fresh if you prefer groceries delivered right to your front door.

The fact that Organic Valley is committed to supporting happy, healthy farms and can easily be found in all 50 states makes it a win-win in my book!

Let's Get Cooking!

In my kitchen, I have little hands always eager to help and minimal time to spare. So I browsed Organic Valley recipes online looking for simple, fast, and something that would get us into fall mode. I absolutely had to try out the  Pumpkin Pie Overnight Oats recipe. After all, we're officially in the Brrrrr months here in Georgia (September through December), which means all clear to have pumpkin and comfort food galore!

It's as easy as dump, stir, chill, then serve. Grab your Organic Valley Grassmilk® and other oatmeal ingredients, dump it all into a mixing bowl, whisk it up, spoon into your preferred jars, then refrigerate for a bit before enjoying. That was the plan – but our first batch never made it to the fridge before my taste testers dug in. With requests for "more" from everyone, Pumpkin Pie Oatmeal is a clear winner!
