About McDonald’s Local Relief Efforts

McDonald's owner/operators in Colorado, Wyoming and Western Nebraska served 62,981 FREE meals to frontline workers from April 22 - May 5th.  In addition, hundreds of pounds of food has been donated to local food banks, veterans and to hospital workers directly at their jobs. McDonald's partner Mile Hi Foods donated 17,640 all beef patties from McDonald's to the Rocky Mountain Food Bank. They also delivered McDonald's food to the Ronald McDonald Houses in Denver/Aurora which equated to feeding sixty families a day and another approximately thirty families a day in the Colorado Springs Ronald McDonald house.

McDonald’s restaurants nationally served more than 10 million free Thank You Meals, valued at more than $50 million. That’s more than 700,000 hot meals a day to nurses, doctors, fire fighters, police officers, EMTs, hospital maintenance staff and more.
