COVID Mask Crafters: Looking for Volunteers!

March 30, 2020

My name is cade beck and I am the Colorado and Utah coordinator for COVID Mask Crafters, an international collective of stitchers making home-sewn masks for healthcare workers to fill in the current massive shortage of personal protection equipment (PPE) due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I am in conversation with Colorado hospital administrators and other healthcare facilities as well as healthcare workers themselves, and many of them are saying "YES, PLEASE!"

How Your Family Can Help

  • We need people with sewing machines to sew masks
  • We need people with materials (tight-woven cotton and cotton-blend fabric, elastic, bias tape/ribbon/tshirt fabric, wire/paper clips/pipe cleaners) to donate
  • We need people to pick up and deliver masks

Please have anyone interested in helping email me at Every facility has a specific set of needs, and I need your help to help them!

Please check out our website, and our Facebook page. Please be sure to reach out to me personally if you are interested!

Thank you so much, and I look forward to hearing from you!

Stay safe and well,
