A message from Chief Clinical Officer, Dr. Marjorie Bessel

Dear valued customers,
At Banner Health, we have a deep and abiding commitment to making it easy for you be your healthiest. This simple, powerful idea helps us stay focused on what’s most important; living up to the trust you place in us each day.

With daily news about the rapid spread of COVID-19, taking care of your health may seem more complicated than ever and perhaps even frightening. Please know that every one of us at Banner Health is committed to helping you, your family and our community stay healthy and safe. I also want to remind you of the resources available to you:
This is not the first infectious outbreak we have responded to. We’re implementing a variety of measures here at Banner to ensure we create as much capacity to serve patients as possible, continue sound clinical practices and provide a safe environment for our patients and team members. So, despite the turbulence and disruptions in daily life, we’re confident in our ability to be here for you, whatever comes our way.

Of course, with all that’s going on, we are seeing record-levels of patient interaction right now. We recognize that means at times we may not be able to pick up your phone call as quickly as usual. Please know that our dedicated patient teams are working incredibly hard to be available to you, as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience if you do experience longer-than-usual wait times. The website is always available as a service option as well.

In this environment, we believe deeply in the power of healing and of working together to be safe and healthy. We can all do our parts by washing our hands frequently, staying home if sick and practicing social distancing.

We’re honored that you’ve entrusted us with your health.
