Five Loveland Breakfast Spots We Love

By Melissa Shrader Editor Publisher Loveland Macaroni Kid June 13, 2021

We love to go out to breakfast on a weekend morning.

After all, what’s not to love about breakfast? No matter what kind of breakfast you’re in the mood for -- the sweet or the savory -- you can find it here.

Plus … breakfast has bacon!

From Juice to Bloody Mary's, we have you covered.

Hungry for breakfast in Loveland yet?

I am! So I've rounded up my family's choices for the top five breakfast spots in the Loveland CO area, along with the reasons that my family loves them. I have them listed below:

The Breakfast Club

1451 N Boise, Loveland; 970-461-2161

Hours: Monday - Saturday 5-2, Sunday 7-2

What we love: It's a local favorite. The portions and the prices are great. It's home-style food. They offer something for every appetite from a hearty meal to the lighter side. One of my favorites is the a-la-cart 2 eggs over easy with a side of bacon. My daughter gets a pancake and she shares my bacon because we get 4 slices in the side order. Lunch is the best with so many choices all hearty and satisfying. I love the Patty Melt or BLT. You can get a Bloody Mary for breakfast or a cocktail for lunch too. Kids get so much to choose from too AND they are great with my picky eater who only eats the whites. If Grandma and Grandpa visit and have dietary needs they can accommodate as well. The flexibility of the menu and friendliness of the staff are what make this the top place.

Coffee House

434 Mountain Avenue, Berthoud  (970) 344-5391

Hours: Monday - Saturday 7am - 6pm. Sun 8am -3pm

What we love: Wonderful menu that features delectable specials. Different artists are featured each month. Books are art by locals to buy. You can get breakfast and lunch all day!

The Donut Haus

2265 E 29th St, Loveland; 970-278-1464

Hours: Monday - Sat 5am -4pm, Sunday 5am-2pm

What we love: If you love donuts this is the place. Locally owned and staffed with some very creative bakers. They offer every kind of donuts you could want from raised to cake, Bismark to fritter. Do you want something more hardy? Order a breakfast burrito, bagel, cinnamon bread, or a Kuchen (one of my favorites).

Santiago's

1485 E. Eisenhower Blvd, Loveland 970-622-0332

Hours: Monday - Saturday 6 am -8 pm

What we love: Great fast and delicious food. If you are on a lunch break or need a quick-to-go breakfast burrito that will fill and taste, you can't go wrong here. You can dine in or take out for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Breakfast fare includes a breakfast bowl, pancake, Huevos Rancheros, and of course the famous breakfast burritos. We love to dine here for lunch for the fast service and I love the Deluxe smothered burritos with half and half green chili (half hot and half mild).  They have various favorites, including tostadas, Indian tacos, and entrees offering combos to satisfy anyone.

Windsor Lake Coffee

430 Main St, Windsor 970-445-4124

Hours: Sunday - Thursday 8:00 am - 6:00 pm Friday - Saturday 8:00 am - 8:00 pm

What we love: Local art from jewelry to paintings along with the best ice cream around. They have a wonderful variety of ice cream flavors as well as a wide variety of coffee options. Smoothies and their bakery items are delectable. Cozy and has that small hometown feel.

Hungry yet? Me too. Time for breakfast, or even lunch???
