Visit Canyon Lakes Ranger District Tree Sale.Cutting dates December 1st through Sunday December 9th, 2018 $20.00 per tree.CASH ONLY. Limit of 5 trees per person. Permits available Saturday andSunday on site. Weekday permits must be purchased from Forest Service Office inFort Collins2150 Centre Ave Bld. E. starting Nov. 26th. Entrance Open daily at the cutting area from 8:30 to2:30 pm. Chains or Four Wheel Drive REQUIRED. The cutting site is nearthe Village of Red Feather Lakes. Bring your camera - Smokey Bear isavailable on the Weekends for pictures from10am – 2:30 pm (times vary). Don’tforget to bring your handsaw or ax (chainsaws are prohibited),winter clothing,water, warm drinks and snacks, sled for pulling tree or young children,equipment for loading tree, and vehicle safety kit that could include a shovel,blanket, first aid kit, etc. Most importantly, make sure your vehicle has fourwheel drive (not all wheel drive) or chains or traction devices (not socks).This is required. NEW this year – you can purchase apermit online till Nov.26th.
Unfortunately, Windsor’sChristmas Trees is not offering cut trees this year however theywill still have centerpieces, wreaths, wall hangings, and more. after along and wonderful time.
