Camp Fernwood is an all-girls residential summer camp located in Poland, Maine for campers ages 7 to 15. Founded in 1921, Camp Fernwood is rooted in the four principles of living simply, enjoying the beauty and wonder of natural surroundings, nurturing tolerance and unselfishness, and developing loving, lifelong friendships.

Camp Fernwood's program is intentional, allowing for friendships to form, independence and resilience to develop, and girls to fully immerse themselves in the complete camp experience.

We are the best camp and after-school program in Fort Collins dedicated to helping kids stay active, make friends, and have fun in a safe, supportive environment. Our programs blend movement, teamwork, and play to create experiences kids enjoy!

We service six local elementary schools, including transportation to our program, with supervised games and physical activities for elementary-aged children (K–5). Activities are led by trained, background-checked staff who prioritize safety, encouragement, and inclusivity.

We also provide Day Camps and Seasonal Camps on days when PSD, Liberty Commons, and Ridgeview Classical Schools are closed. We also offer Summer Camp with fun weekly themes! Camps run Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m., featuring active play, arts and crafts, and many other activities!

As a local program, we proudly support our community through school partnerships, donations, and volunteer service.

The Idyllwild Arts Summer Program offers unique summer arts camp opportunities for adults, teens, and children. From high school intensive workshops, to kids overnight art camps, to adult workshops and programs, there is an amazing experience for everyone to develop and grow as an authentic artist. We offer several different options for young climbers, based on their age, experience, and competitive spirit. If your young one is brand new to the wild world of climbing, start with a day camp or prep school. If they show an interest in climbing (and we're pretty sure they will!) they can join our after school recreational team or level up to Team Whetstone, our competitive climbing team.

We are a full year program that offers care for children 6 weeks up to 10 years at our infant, toddler and preschool centers as well as our before and after school program and summer camps.

Children 3 1⁄2 to 12 who are taught the fundamental skill of all visual arts foster a wealth of skills such as fine motor skills, handwriting readiness and attention to detail. It develops patience, discipline and focus and artistic skill among other skills which help with vocabulary history art skills, imagination, creativity and confidence.
